Chirina’s veterinary laboratory started its operation in 2014. The laboratory staff was sent to Israel, Ukraine for further qualification elevation and acquaintance with the latest trends in veterinary diagnosis. Initially laboratory was only undertaking the microbiological tests on meat produts, water, swabs, feed. In 2015 laboratory Sana started serology testing on ELISA as well. The tests are done on poultry and swine diseases.
In 2016 laboratory established partnership with the Austrian company Romer Lab and started undertaking tests on the following micotoxins in the feed and feed ingredients: DON, ZON, AFLA, T2, Fumonisin, and Ochratoxin. It was also in 2016 that company became accredited under ISO 17025 standard.
