One of the priorities of Chirina is to further process its waste products and thus care about environment. It could be said that the company carries out the waste-free manufacturing process.

Rendering plant
Rendering Plant is equipped with Danish modern technology from company Haarslev. It is through rendering plant that all the residues of slaughtering process are further processed. And as result of this recycling process bone meal, feather and blood meal is produced. 

Waste Water Treatment Plant
Chirina implemented modern systems of waste water treatment to ensure that production process is safe for the nature. Together with Dutch partner Nijhuis, Chirina installed the innovative biological water treatment system, which cleans and filters the water used in production, thus making sure that production is harmless for the environemnt.

Organic Waste
Another type of waste that is being produced and further processed by Chirina is chicken manure. Chirina processes chicken manure into organic fertilizer - compost. Compost is rich in micro-elements that enhances the productivity of the land. Compost is the main fertilizer in the production of wheat and corn used by the company.
